Six horses are brutally blinded with a metal spike in the dead of night. The question is not who, but why? Child psychiatrist Dr. Martin Dysart must discover the motives behind seventeen-year-old Alan Strang’s atrocious acts, but the deeper he digs into Alan’s troubled psyche, the more his own repressed truths begin to surface.
